Famous Ukrainian boxer Bohdan Myronets (8-1, 4 KOs) sensationally defeated the British Nathan Gorman (19-3, 13 KOs), who is a cousin of Tyson Fury. The 8-round super-heavyweight fight at the Bolton Whites Hotel in Bolton (UK) ended with a unanimous decision of 77:76.

Before the fight, none of the bookmakers believed in the Ukrainian representative.

From the first minutes, the 29-year-old from Kyiv took the center of the ring, demonstrating high speed and good movement on his feet. Myronets repeatedly lashed out with a jab and tried to combine the attacks. The British heavyweight tried to catch our compatriot when he was closing in, using left-side kicks, overhands and crosses.

Towards the middle of the fight, the Ukrainian's advantage began to emerge more and more clearly. Gorman, realizing that the victory was getting away from him, began to clinch and then unsuccessfully tried to seize the initiative.

Having noticeable problems with excess weight, Gorman was inferior to the fast Bohdan. Myronets, feeling that he could make an upset, began to invest in his advantages, using an uppercut.

After that, the Ukrainian fighter's corner advised him to take a break, which almost cost him the victory. The second half of the fight turned out to be more competitive, which ultimately led to a minimal difference in the score.
