Ukrainian is a Mother Goddess: top 10 best national dresses at the Miss Universe contest

On the night of November 17, El Salvador hosted a show of national costumes as part of the Miss Universe contest. Ukrainian Angelina Usanova paraded in a luxurious and symbolic image of the "Mother Goddess".

Other contestants also put symbolism in their costumes. OBOZ.UA collected the most striking and interesting dresses of the participants, in the editorial opinion.

The costume called Mother Goddess was created by the MÜ production team, and the development and production of the blue and yellow image took about 1.5 months. It took 30-35 meters of chiffon and other fabrics to create the spectacular dress. Some elements were printed on a 3D printer.

Approximately 45,000 decorative stones were used for decoration. The fabric features a print of white clouds on a blue canvas, symbolizing a peaceful sky without missiles. In her hands, Usanova was carrying the personification of Ukrainian children-angels.

The national costume of Miss Great Britain was dedicated to the English language, and in particular to the Oxford English Dictionary. The designers created an installation of the book on the contestant's back.

Miss Indonesia impressed the audience not with the width and scale of her dress, but with the interesting decorations hanging over her head. The complex design did not prevent the contestant from confidently walking across the stage.

Miss Ireland came out to the audience in a real Snow Queen costume. Her blue outfit was very elaborate and shimmered beautifully under the lighting on stage.

Miss Guyana impressed the fans of the contest with a very bright costume, the accent of which was not a train or a decorated dress, but a lush "tail" of the outfit with various patterns and decorative flowers.
