Ukraine defender Maksym Talovierov will continue his career in the second division of the English Championship. On January 28, the 24-year-old footballer will undergo a medical examination at Plymouth, which plays in the Championship and ranks last in the standings.

This was reported by Sky Sports. According to the source, the transfer of the Ukrainian from Austrian LASK will cost the Plymouth two million euros. Talovierov will sign a contract with the English for a period of three and a half years and will be able to make his debut for the new team next Saturday in the game against West Bromwich Albion.

Plymouth see the Ukrainian defender as an opportunity to strengthen their defense as they have conceded 62 goals in 29 matches of the current Premier League season. The team has scored 22 points and is seven points behind the much-needed 21st place, which will avoid relegation to the third strongest division of English football.

Talovierov has played 20 matches for LASK in all competitions this season, scoring a goal assist. He also played three Nations League matches with the team.
