The Ukraine national football team did not make it to the first pot during the draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers to be held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Our team may face the strongest qualifiers in the European zone, entering pot 2.

It is already known that Serhiy Rebrov's team will start its fight for a ticket to the championship no earlier than June next year, as they will play for the right to play in Division A of the Nations League playoffs in March. Our team's opponent was determined last week - it turned out to be Belgium.

According to the draw, our national team will definitely not play against Sweden, Turkey, Wales, Hungary, Serbia, Poland, Greece, Romania, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Norway, and Belarus. The main ceremony will take place on December 13.
