Ukraine launches an updated train on an important route: how much do tickets cost

"Ukrzaliznytsia" has resumed direct rail service between Slavutych and Kyiv. A modernized electric train will now run on this important route, which connects the capital with a town in Chernihiv region (although it is formally part of Kyiv region). Ticket prices are about 100 UAH.

This was reported by the company itself. They noted that for this purpose, the route of the regional electric train Fastiv – Chernihiv was extended to Slavutych.

"Also, additional suburban trains No. 6859/6860 (daily, except weekends) will run between Chernihiv and Slavutych. And No. 6862 (daily)," the statement said.

Train schedule from Kyiv to Slavutych

Regional train No. 894/893 departs from Slavutych on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays at 16:19. Arrives:

• to Kyiv – at 20:26;
• to Fastiv – at 21:44.

In the opposite direction, train No. 892/891 departs from Fastiv at 07:00. Departure from Kyiv is at 08:11. Arrival in Slavutych is at 11:46.

How much do train tickets cost

As of May 17, tickets for the trip from Kyiv to Slavutych are sold for 3rd class seats. Their price is 92.03 UAH.

Tickets from Slavutych to Kyiv are also on sale for 3rd class seats. And they cost the same.
