UAV attack on Ufa airport

On Thursday evening, October 31, the Ufa airport was closed in Russia. Airplanes have also stopped arriving there.

This was reported by the Russian media. They also report strikes and explosions in the city.

"At Ufa airport, restrictions have been temporarily imposed on the reception and release of aircraft to ensure aviation security measures," The Federal Agency for Air Transport said in a statement.

It is noted that flights will be operated after restrictions related to the risk of drone attacks are lifted.

"Something arrived at the factory in Ufa," Andrii Kovalenko, head of the National Security and Defense Council's Central Intelligence Center, wrote on his Telegram.

It is worth noting that the airport is located almost 1500 km from the border with Ukraine.

Later, local authorities reported that three drones had attacked industrial enterprises in Ufa, with no casualties.

"The first UAV fell on the territory of one of the enterprises and caused minimal damage in the form of broken glass in the operator's room. The other two fell in the industrial zone. The enterprises are operating normally," said the head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov.

The day before, on October 30, the morning in Russia began with a new fire. It broke out on the territory of the "Elektroizolit" plant in the Moscow region.

Earlier, a satellite image of a university building in Chechnya after a drone attack was posted online. Ramzan Kadyrov himself announced that the "Putin Special Forces University" created by the head of the region, Ramzan Kadyrov, had been attacked the day before, on October 29. In the evening, he also released a story about Ukrainian prisoners of war allegedly killed in the attack: before that, Kadyrov claimed that the building was empty and that no one was injured in the attack.
