Experts share how to update your spring wardrobe according to your body type

When choosing a style and clothes, it is important to take into account not only fashion trends but also body features. Women with such body types as the hourglass, triangle, inverted triangle, rectangle, and apple should be careful when shopping.

In order to help you update your spring wardrobe properly, OBOZ.UA talked to the team of the famous Ukrainian designer Andre Tan. The experts told us what rules should be followed to choose the perfect style.

Hourglass

Women with this body type can feel confident in any look. A slip dress with an incredible back, a two-piece suit of a top and a pencil skirt, or a white maxi dress with lace will emphasize femininity perfectly.

Triangle

Women with the triangle or pear shape have wide hips and narrow shoulders. Experts advise to emphasize the shoulders by wearing tops and blouses with an emphasis on the upper body, for example, with large necklines or flounces. Pay attention to straight pants to make your hips look smaller. Dresses with a wrap and asymmetrical cut are also great.

Inverted triangle

Dresses with asymmetrical necklines and flared skirts, as well as V-necks, will help to emphasize the figure of the "inverted triangle". You can also use accent colors or ornaments.

Rectangle

Women with a rectangular figure have narrow shoulders and hips, as well as a not-very-pronounced waist. Therefore, it is recommended that they wear clothes that seem to follow the outline of the figure and add a soft emphasis to the waist. This can be done with the help of color or accessories such as a belt.

Apple

Loose-fitting shirts and wide, high-waisted trousers will go well with an apple shape. It is important to choose loose silhouettes, soft fabrics and structures.
