Toyota's bright new-generation low-cost model revealed online

Toyota wants to put back into production an inexpensive model with a bright design and sporty character, which will receive a motor from the Corolla. Almost 20 years ago, this car was removed from the model lineup, and now they are preparing a revival.

It is expected that in 2026 the fourth generation of Toyota MR2 will go into production. The novelty will be powered by an engine from the 300 hp Toyota GR Corolla sports hatchback. TALK WHEELS shows a possible design of the model, although there is no unambiguous information about it yet.

Previously, the company showed off the Toyota FT-Se concept. It is in his style in the end may perform a production car. The model will be offered with a manual transmission and automatic gearbox for a choice of buyers.
