Toyota is preparing a low-cost alternative to sporty crossovers BMW and Mercedes. The first images in the network showed how the new model with a powerful powertrain and bright design may look like.

The new Toyota GR Crown Sport crossover Toyota GR Crown Sport will be based on the 2024 model, which not so long ago came to the market. It's a fairly large model with a hint of premium. Digital artist Theottle showed his version of the sporty modification of the model.

Judging by the images that the artist prepared in an attempt to guess the design, the new car will get bumpers with large air intakes, low sill plates and new wheels on low-profile tires.

The crossover reaches 4.7 meters in length with a wheelbase of about 2.8 meters. The design of the model was made in a new, complex corporate style with curved headlights, rich plastic lines and surfaces, and unusual taillights. Wheels are 21 inches in diameter.

The base Toyota Crown Sport 2024 crossover is equipped with a hybrid powertrain based on a 2.5-liter gasoline engine. The Crown Sport is priced from $39,600.

The top variant received the same internal combustion engine, which was supplemented with two electric motors. The power is 306 hp. At the same time, the combined fuel consumption is 4.9 liters/100 km. And 90 km of run exclusively on electric traction.
