The best thing you can do next weekend is to get on your "iron horse" and go on a short bike ride. And if you take a tent with you, you can stop and fully enjoy the beauty of Ukrainian nature. Picturesque trails, forests, fields, and mountains are already waiting for you. Prepare your two-wheeled friend and let's go traveling through the endless expanses.

Synevyr

A route in the Transcarpathian region. It starts from the village of Volovets. You can get here by train or by car.

Be sure to visit the Shipit waterfall, one of the most beautiful in Ukraine. Next, we recommend visiting the Borzhava meadow, the longest in Zakarpattia. Here you can visit the Surya restaurant, which is located near the upper station of the chairlift. The next stop is Mizhhiria and the Synevyr National Nature Park.

The reserve is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are several accommodations on its territory where you can spend the night and relax. In particular, the Arnika Motel and the Forest Song cottage. There is also a camping area nearby.

Also, be sure to visit the Valley of the Wolves Ecopark, the Brown Bear Rehabilitation Center, and the Kamianets Waterfall.

Length: 70 kilometers.

Trakhtemyrivsky Peninsula

A tourist destination in the Cherkasy region on the banks of the Dnipro River. First you need to get to Myronivka. Trains run to the town from Kyiv's main station. However, the best way to get there is by car directly to the starting point. The cycling trip starts from the village of Buchak, then Hryhorivka and Trakhtemyriv.

Here, tourists can see the trident tree, taste water from the Rozhena Krynytsia spring, and climb Baturyn Hill. There is also a tripod called "Height 222". Fans of energy practices often come here.

You can take a break in the village of Malyi Bukryn. You can rent a house here. We also recommend visiting the local goat farm.

Length: 40 kilometers in both directions.

Golden horseshoe

A route in the Lviv region. It starts from the town of Zolochiv, then goes to Sasiv, Pidhirtsi, and Olesko. The return trip passes through the White Stone. You can visit 3 castles in one day:

Zolochiv Castle. It was built in the first half of the seventeenth century. It once housed a fortress, a royal residence, a manor house, a prison, and an educational institution. Today, you can see the Chinese and Great Residential Palaces and the gate tower.

Oleskyi. One of the oldest in Ukraine. Here, tourists can see Ukrainian icons, ancient tiles, portraits of prominent people, and Western European baroque tapestries. We also recommend taking a stroll in the park, where more than 4,000 bushes and trees have been planted.

Pidhirtsi. The building was erected on the site of a former manor in 1635-1640. Travelers will be able to go inside, in particular, to the Golden, Karmazin, and Knight Halls.

Length: approximately 60 kilometers in both directions.

Volyn Polissya

The route starts from Rivne. You can get here by train or by car.

The next stop is Klevan. The famous tourist attraction "Tunnel of Love" is located here. By the way, its analog was opened in China in 2017. We also suggest going to the local castle. Today, only the ruins of a defensive structure and the buildings of a religious school remain. It was first mentioned in 1475.

Next, we go to Olytsia. The village once served as the residence of the Radziwill magnates. It is also home to the Olytsia Castle, which also belonged to the family. It is considered one of the first rectangular bastion-type palaces in modern Ukraine.

Length: approximately 80 kilometers in both directions.

Butsky canyon

A tourist destination in the Cherkasy region. The cycling trip starts from Zhashkiv and goes to the reserve. The natural attraction is famous for its gray granite rocks, which are over 30 meters high. By the way, it's a great place for rock climbing and kayaking.

We also recommend going to the Vyr waterfall. Here, tourists can explore the stone ruins of an old water mill dating back to the 19th century.

Length: approximately 60 kilometers in both directions.

We wish you an easy and unforgettable trip!
