This Opel will compete with the Duster: the price of the new crossover has appeared

The new budget crossover Opel Frontera for the 2025 model year has already been officially declassified. It was followed by the Vauxhall Frontera, a twin with minor differences. In terms of size and positioning, the new crossovers will compete with the Dacia Duster.

The new Vauxhall Frontera is a slightly modified Opel Frontera for the British market. The main differences are technical adaptation to local conditions and, of course, the installation of the steering wheel on the right.

The car is based on Citroen's cheapest crossover and mostly uses its design, except for some elements. The new Frontera is built on the CMP modular platform. It is based on the Citroen C3, Peugeot 2008, Jeep Avenger, and Fiat 600.

It was decided to design the new model in line with the current trends that almost all new SUVs in the world follow. The silhouette of the model is square, with straight, simple shapes everywhere. The interior is designed for 5 and 7 people.

The Vauxhall Frontera crossover received an electric (range of 300 km) and hybrid versions – both with a price of 23,495 pounds sterling.
