Overall, electric cars took up 87% of Norway's car market as of 2024. Norwegians have bought 68,435 electric cars.

The country wants to fully switch to EVs in 2025. Demand can be maintained thanks to special incentives. These include tax and duty reductions, discounts on parking and road tolls.

Among the market leaders are well-known models of the lower and middle price segments. The most popular cars turned out to be Tesla Model Y, Volvo EX30, Volkswagen ID.4, Toyota bZ4X.
