Moscow is massively installing so-called anti-drone nets. In this way, the capital of the aggressor country is trying to protect itself from Ukrainian drones as it no longer relies on Russian air defense and electronic warfare.

This was stated by Artem Kariakin, a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The soldier referred to his informants and showed the relevant photos on X.

"I think it's no secret that I have my own eyes and ears not only in the occupied Luhansk region but also in different regions of the Russian Federation. For example, my readers from Moscow show me how Russians are protecting various critical infrastructure facilities from our drones," the guy said.

Kariakin rightly believes that this is good news as it makes it clear that there are no safe places in the Russian Federation anymore and means that "hopes for air defense forces are not so great."

Artem Kariakin is a volunteer from Kadiivka, Luhansk, with the call sign "Skhidnyi", which is also his online nickname. Despite his young age, he has already received awards from Ukraine's top leadership. And it is not surprising: Artem spent eight years in the occupation, where he was a guerrilla fighter for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Only after burying his family did Artem manage to get to the territory of Ukraine free from the occupiers. In 2022, the young man joined the Armed Forces as a volunteer and took part in counteroffensives in the Kharkiv region, in Bakhmut and Lyman. However, the soldier does not forget his guerrilla activities and has a network of informants even in the TOT.

Anti-drone nets have been used in Russia for a long time. This is evidenced even by the advertising of Russian manufacturers who switched from producing sporting goods to "defense". But until recently, such nets have not been installed neither in Moscow and other central cities nor in the occupied Crimea.
