The beauty of Kyiv has always attracted tourists, including foreigners. Back in 1966, Georg Oddner, one of the most prominent photographers of Sweden in the twentieth century, visited the capital of Ukraine and used his camera to capture and convey the shades of the city's life.

The archival photos were published in the community "Spraha: Kyiv is interesting" on Facebook. You can see what the capital looked like 58 years ago.

"Kyiv. This is how the Swedish photographer Georg Oddner saw the city and people of that time: "There is an element of poetry in reality, and I want to capture it." 1966," the post reads.

It is worth adding that Georg Oddner (October 17, 1923 - October 7, 2007) was one of the most prominent photographers in Sweden in the twentieth century.
