The US imposed new sanctions on companies and individuals from Russia, China and the DPRK: who is subject to restrictions
The United States has imposed new sanctions on companies and individuals from Russia, China, and North Korea. This was done as part of the Nonproliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction Act.
This became known from a document of the US State Department. The sanctions list includes the Russian company Bearings on Lipetsk LLC, which is a supplier of bearings, and Russian citizen Igor Michurin.
The latter was already subject to US sanctions in 2017. Back then, the restrictions were imposed by the US Treasury Department, according to which the Russian was linked to the North Korean company Korea Tangun Trading Corporation.
Now, on the same grounds, the Chinese company Dandong Mason-Age Trade Co Ltd and two North Korean citizens have been added to the list.
These sanctions are imposed for a period of two years, and then they can be reviewed.

- Earlier, the United States expanded sanctions pressure on the Russian economy and introduced a new package of sanctions in connection with the full-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine. This time, major players in Russia's banking and financial industry have been restricted.
- The United Kingdom expanded sanctions against Russia's "shadow fleet" and introduced new restrictions. This time, two Russian insurers and 30 oil tankers linked to Russia were blacklisted.
