Famous American boxer Alan Garcia (14-1, 11 KOs) suffered a sensational defeat at the boxing night in Glendale, USA. The 21-year-old lightweight was knocked out by Spaniard Ricardo Fernandez (16-13, 2 KOs).

The eight-round fight at the Desert Diamond Arena ended early.

The 31-year-old Fernandez, who had lost 13 of his 15 fights, was an absolute underdog, and no bookmaker believed in his victory.
