The unbeaten American lightweight Floyd Schofield (18-0, 12 KOs) won a difficult victory over Mexican Rene Tellez (20-4, 13 KOs). The main boxing match at the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas ring in Las Vegas (USA) ended with a unanimous decision of 118-109, 118-109 and 116-111.
From the first minutes, Tellez tried to pressure his opponent. By the third round, Schofield was able to level the fight and gradually seize the initiative.

The American was significantly superior in speed and technique, but instead of ending the fight early, he was exchanging punches with his opponent, throwing sprawls and stopping in the middle of the fight.
The Mexican fighter didn't give up and in the 11th round he unexpectedly put the favorite on the canvas, which did not affect the final result.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, previously unbeaten British light heavyweight Ezra Taylor (10-0, 7 KOs) defeated Kristaps Bulmeistars (12-3, 5 KOs) from Latvia in 24 seconds. The 30-year-old native of Nottingham finished the fight first.
