Winter is the perfect time to seek warmth and sunshine in other countries, and Tanzania has become the undisputed leader among winter vacation destinations. With more than 12 hours of sunshine every day, this country gives vacationers the opportunity to enjoy the warmth even in the darkest months of the year.

According to a study conducted by LA Travel, Tanzania offers the highest number of hours of sunshine among popular winter destinations. This is a real salvation for residents of countries with cold climates, the Daily Express noted.

In addition to Tanzania, the study named other popular winter destinations. The second place was taken by the city of Male in the Maldives, where you can enjoy 11.88 hours of sunshine every day. Cape Town in South Africa rounds out the top three, offering 11.47 hours of sunshine per day. Not only do these countries provide warmth, but they also offer unique landscapes, gorgeous beaches, and plenty of opportunities for entertainment.

Tanzania attracts tourists not only with long sunny days but also with picturesque beaches and unique nature. Golden sands and stunning views make this country one of the best places for winter vacations. Here you can enjoy the sun for 12 hours every day.

Malé, the capital of the Maldives, is also considered a paradise for winter vacations. Here, visitors can enjoy white beaches, crystal clear water, and the opportunity to immerse themselves in the cultural traditions of the region. This city offers 16% more sunshine than the popular Marrakech.

Cape Town attracts tourists not only with sunny days but also with a rich cultural heritage. Famous for its beaches and the legendary Table Mountain, it also offers tourists to visit the neighboring Cape Winelands, a region with world-class wineries. This city is a perfect blend of nature, history, and modern amenities.

For those looking for more exotic options, the list also includes Bali in Indonesia, Cairo in Egypt, and Chiang Mai in Thailand. All of these places offer more than 10 hours of sunshine every day, making them a great alternative to the winter doldrums.

However, not all popular resorts can boast a large number of hours of sunshine. For example, Malta and Ibiza provide only 6.76 and 6.53 hours of winter sunshine, respectively, which is significantly less than the leaders in the ranking.

All in all, if you dream of escaping from winter and enjoying the sun, Tanzania, Male or Cape Town may be your ideal options. They not only guarantee warm weather, but also create an unforgettable atmosphere for relaxation.
