It's no secret that the long-awaited premiere of the next-generation Toyota RAV4 crossover is nearing. Apparently, the debut will take place pretty soon as new information has emerged about the car.

Carscoops learned that the premiere of the next-generation Toyota Wildlander crossover, the Chinese version of the Toyota RAV4, will take place in April 2025 - just in a couple of months.

The PRC crossover differs from the global version only in the design of the front end. The car has always been positioned as a secondary option, so the new 6th generation Toyota RAV4 may be declassified even earlier.

Recently, test prototypes hit the roads, hidden under camouflage film as usual. Nevertheless, serious changes were noticeable right away - it became obvious that the silhouette will become more square.

The Japanese company is very careful in modernizing this successful model. The Toyota RAV4 for the 2026 model year will retain its formula and will not demonstrate any dramatic changes in the concept. The car will definitely not turn into an electric vehicle. And hybrid modifications will remain in the lineup.
