Tesla Model Y Juniper is the name of the prototype, and the electric car will go on sale under the familiar name. According to Carscoops, full production of the model will start in China in January 2025.

Earlier, it was reported that in October, the plant in Shanghai began assembling trial batches of 12 cars per day. This is a standard procedure before the start of full operation.

The electric crossover will get three rows of seats, which are enough for 7 people. In addition, an elongated body with 6 seats is being prepared exclusively for the Chinese market.

Most likely, the new vehicle will receive the same changes that we saw in the new Tesla Model 3 in 2024.
