The stylish Honda Prelude model will be produced again but as an inexpensive sports car. The new vehicle has not yet gone on sale, but it is getting closer to buyers amid further details.

As Motor1 has learned, the new Honda Prelude will go on sale at the end of 2025 as a 2026 model year car. It was reported that the coupe will receive a fuel-efficient powertrain from the Honda Accord and Civic hybrid models with a capacity of more than 200 hp. Strict environmental regulations require at least some electrification.

Earlier, the concept of the Honda Prelude was presented online. The elegant sports coupe looked like a production-ready car. It is expected that in 2025, the new model will be produced almost unchanged.

It is interesting that the manufacturer will develop an imitation of the manual transmission based on the variator used in hybrid systems.
