The new version of the iPad Air could be revolutionary: what is known

This year, Apple introduced the largest tablet in its lineup – the iPad Air, which boasts a 13-inch display. However, despite the increased diagonal, it remains with the old 60 Hz refresh rate.

Now the best in this regard is the iPad Pro 2024, which has 120 Hz. However, according to iTech.ua, next year's iPad Air may come close.

According to rumors, the refresh rate of the screen in the iPad Air 2025 may reach 90 Hz. The same screens can be expected in the new 24-inch iMac and Studio Display models. However, these screens will not be based on OLED technology. These will be panels with liquid motion, which will make the screen smoother and more responsive. However, these rumors have not been confirmed yet and remain rather the assumptions of experts. Moreover, they expect that the iPhone 17, which will be released in 2025, may get 120 Hz on regular models. At the same time, the iPhone Pro already boasts such characteristics.

The new iPad Pro is expected to be presented in May next year. This year, Apple showed the updated iPad Pro in May. In addition, there are rumors that at the spring presentation the company will also present a new iPad Air (probably with the M3 chip instead of the current M2), as well as an updated iPad and iPhone SE 4.
