Old color photographs give us the opportunity to dive into the history of the Ukrainian capital and see the city in a completely different light. Thanks to the photographers' work, we can understand why Kyiv is called a "green" city.

The archive photos were published in the community "Thirst: Kyiv is interesting" on Facebook. The photos were published 70 years ago.

The old photos show how green the center of the Ukrainian capital was, the Dnipro cliffs, the river on the bank of which lies the old town, the Olympic Stadium and other locations.
