Luxury family cars

For those who can afford to buy a car at an above-average price, experts have compiled a rating of luxury family models. Fortunately, luxury comes in all shapes, sizes, and prices today, and there are top-notch family cars in various market segments that give you more comfort, space, and relaxation for less.

Car Buzz has published the top best vehicles for family needs in different segments. Audi, Toyota, and Volvo are among the leaders.

Audi A6 Allroad

The Audi A6 is designed for families who want convenience and luxury. Not everyone wants to buy an SUV, so the A6 allroad is a godsend as a station wagon with a low lift and the ability to overcome difficult terrain. Two rows of seats accommodate five people with ample legroom. The 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 offers 335 horsepower, making full use of the quattro all-wheel drive.

Volvo XC90

The XC90 is positioned as a luxury family SUV, and its constant updates ensure that it remains a viable competitor to newer vehicles such as the Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class. The XC90 can seat seven people in three rows. The interior emphasizes natural light with ash wood trim and soft Nappa leather, while the optional rear air suspension helps you float on the road with ease. Choosing the Ultimate package for $70,595, you get a 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. The B6 powertrain combines a 295 hp four-cylinder engine with twin supercharged engines and all-wheel drive.

Toyota Sienna

Some of the best luxury cars are minivans with ample passenger space and comfortable leather seats. Toyota Sienna is no exception. It comes standard with a large number of drivers and safety features. At the top of this luxury is Platinum, which costs $52,645. For this money, you get a 2.5-liter hybrid four-cylinder engine with 245 hp. Among the additional features: 10-inch color projection display, heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated seats, etc.

Hyundai Palisade

The seven-seater Hyundai Palisade has become one of the favorite midsize family SUVs. The Ergo-motion seats use air cushions to support the body and reduce fatigue, and the microfiber ceiling trim adds a softness to the cabin atmosphere. VIPs in the second row receive heated and ventilated seats with a winged headrest for maximum relaxation, while sunshades on the rear window add privacy. Even the third-row seats are heated. All models are powered by a 3.8-liter V6 gas engine.

Cadillac Escalade ESV Premium Luxury Platinum

The Cadillac Escalade ESV with an extended wheelbase is a first-class low-altitude flight. The 38-inch curved OLED instrument panel and infotainment displays combined with wood trim and seats combine old-world charm with modern technology, making the starting price of $106,095 look quite justified. The model has a 3.0-liter diesel engine with 277 hp or a 6.2-liter V8 with 420 hp.

Lincoln Navigator

The 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost engine is both powerful and smooth. The spacious second- and third-row seats are also finished with high-quality materials, and the panoramic Vista Roof offers a great view. Two passenger seats can replace the multi-seat in the center row, making the car comfortable and seven-seater.

Lexus RX Hybrid

The 2.5-liter hybrid engine promises 246 hp and 233 lb-ft of torque with a variable transmission in FWD for $59,080 or AWD for $60,680. The interior offers Lexus NuLuxe leather upholstery, a variety of wood trim options to choose from, and the Lexus interface with a 14-inch touchscreen display with intelligent assistant. Lexus, like Volvo, is focused on safety.

Lucid Air Grand Touring

The Grand Touring delivers 1,050 hp from two electric motors and accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds, traveling 830 km on a single charge. And this is not even the most powerful Air derivative. But beyond performance, this is a luxury sedan that can compete with the iconic S-Class. It is a practical, stylish, and spacious model.

Volvo V60 Recharge

The V60 Recharge is a plug-in hybrid with 455 hp and acceleration to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds. It seats five passengers. Volvo is traditionally filled with safety and innovation, with DrivePilot adaptive cruise control integrated with Google, a superior Bowers & Wilkins sound system, and a host of driver assistance systems.

Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid Pinnacle

The Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid, particularly in the Pinnacle trim, is the ultimate in luxury for the Stetalntis minivan lineup. The electric motor includes a power sliding door, a rear trunk door and an available Stow 'n Vac system.
