Experts say: these cars are well worth the fabulous money

Cars with a price tag that seems exorbitant are actually masterpieces of engineering that redefine the boundaries of performance, design, and functionality. It's not a vehicle in the narrow sense of the word, but a true work of art.

The most expensive cars in the world are equipped with the latest safety features, advanced entertainment technologies, exceptionally comfortable interiors, and extensive personalization options. Forbes India has collected a dozen of these models and described their features.

Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire Droptail

The cost of this roadster is about $30 million. It is equipped with a 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V-12 engine that delivers 563 hp with a peak torque of 820 Nm. The car body is made of carbon, steel and aluminum. It is 5.3 meters long and 2 meters wide. Innovative body paint transforms La Rose Noire Droptail into a real chameleon whose color depends on the angle of view. The car's design is inspired by the petals of the Black Baccarat rose that grows in France.

Rolls Royce Boat Tail

Boat Tail, the successor to the stunning Sweptail introduced in 2017, features a distinctive two-tone exterior and high-quality finishes. In the cabin, you can find such a luxurious device as a champagne fridge. The Boat Tail rear end is a new interpretation of the wooden rear ends of classic 1930s Rolls-Royce cars.

Bugatti La Voiture Noire

The name of this monster is translated from French as "black car". La Voiture Noire is equipped with a powerful 8-liter W16 engine with four turbines. It boasts an impressive 1479 horsepower and 1600 Nm of torque. Its notable features include luxurious wheels, a custom front fascia, and a rear badge that highlights the Bugatti brand name.

Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta

Pagani Automobili was founded in 1992 by Horacio Pagani and is now a respected Italian manufacturer of some of the most desirable cars in the world. The brand deliberately limits production volumes, which sets it apart from Lamborghini and Ferrari, and makes its models truly iconic. The Zonda HP Barchetta stands out even against them, as only three of these cars were produced, one of which was reserved for Horacio Pagani himself.

SP Automotive Chaos

Renowned Greek automotive designer Spyros Panopoulos has unveiled two high-performance cars that use the latest materials. The SP Automotive Chaos Earth version, which boasts 2048 horsepower, is a standard model. However, the Zero Gravity variant goes up a notch and, thanks to a four-cylinder V-10 engine, produces as much as 3065 horsepower. This version accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 1.55 seconds.

Rolls Royce Sweptail

The Sweptail is an iconic car that revives the tradition of Rolls-Royce's 1920s and 1930s body cars with their distinctive roof lines. The front end of the Sweptail reflects the design elements of the Phantom Coupé before the restyling: round headlights with individual rectangular daytime running lights and the largest radiator grille among modern models, framed by brushed aluminum.

Bugatti Centodieci

The Centodieci is a tribute to the Bugatti brand's 110-year legacy of exceptional design and performance, but it also pays tribute to its innovation. By reinterpreting the iconic EB110, the Centodieci not only captures the essence of its historical inspiration, but also brings it into the modern era with unparalleled performance and avant-garde design. To make this model very special, only 10 copies were produced.

Mercedes Maybach Exelero

The Mercedes-Benz Exelero was created in 2004 by the German division of Goodyear Fulda. Based on the Maybach, the Exelero is equipped with the same legendary twin-turbocharged V12 engine that delivers an impressive 690 horsepower and 1020 Nm of torque. The car's design minimizes aerodynamic stress. Weighing 2660 kg, the Mercedes-Benz Maybach Exelero concept car boasts a robust design. Accelerating to a top speed of 351 km/h, it outperforms many other concept cars.

Pagani Huayra Codalunga

The model was created at the request of two collectors who wanted to create a car inspired by the classic design of 1960s racing cars, while being equipped with all the achievements of the Pagani stable. The result is the super-stylish Huayra Codalunga, which has a V-12 engine with 828 horsepower under the hood.

Bugatti Divo

While the Divo bears similarities to its more affordable Chiron counterpart, the features it comes with justify the price difference. It boasts lighter wheels, a carbon fiber intercooler, and impeccable noise insulation. Despite the fact that both cars have the same power of 1500 horsepower, the Divo has a unique aerodynamic scheme that allowed it to beat the Chiron on the Nardo test track by as much as 8 seconds.
