Drones of the Main Intelligence Directorate hit an oil refinery in Tuapse, Russia

The explosions and fire at the oil refinery in Tuapse, Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, were the result of another special operation by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine. It was its drones that attacked this facility on the territory of the aggressor country on the night of July 22.

The detailed consequences for the Tuapse refinery are still being clarified. OBOZ.UA learned about this from informed sources in military intelligence.

It is noted that the drones were spotted in the sky over Tuapse around 03:30 local time. Russian public wrote that during the first wave of the attack, their air defense system tried to shoot down four drones at once. At about 06:25, at least two more powerful explosions were heard in the area of the refinery, after which a fire broke out on the territory of the facility.

In total, at least eight UAVs are reported to have attacked the Russian plant. Although propaganda media reported that "drone debris" hit, they confirmed that the refinery's infrastructure was damaged.

The extent of damage to the military-industrial complex of the Russian terrorist state is currently being clarified.
