The details became known to Motor1. The 3rd generation Mercedes CLA model will be the first car with an operating system based on Google Cloud's Automotive AI Agent that integrates Gemini artificial intelligence.

The new Automotive AI Agent tool is fully integrated into Google Maps. Voice search will allow you to conduct complex dialogues with the system to effectively interact with secondary functions of the car.

The new Mercedes-Benz CLA for the 2026 model year will receive a wide range of powertrains. And in the EV version, it will become the brand's most affordable electric car.

Thanks to the use of the modern Mercedes Modular Architecture (MMA), the next CLA will receive an all-electric powertrain (270-380 hp) for the first time in addition to a range of gasoline engine and hybrid versions.
