The long-awaited Honda SUV is no longer a secret: photos have appeared online

The long-awaited Honda Passport is an inexpensive SUV built on a modified platform of the popular Honda CR-V crossover. The novelty is no longer a secret - the car was shown online.

This was reported on the Instagram page of the Rebelle Rally racing competition. The photo shows the participating car - the new Honda Passport 2026 model year. Although this is a pre-production prototype, it generally corresponds to a production option.

The SUV is being prepared for its full-fledged premiere in 2025. The current model is very similar to other Japanese Honda crossovers, but the company is positioning the model as a car for an active lifestyle. The new car has a unique style and more serious preparation for off-road use.

We see many elements of geometric shapes: headlights, grille design, silhouette. The attention is drawn to the large decorative Passport inscription on the front - like the most famous Ford and Land Rover SUVs.

Honda has probably assessed the growing demand for "all-terrain vehicles" with a brutal design, so the new car will get a rougher and more "robust" appearance. A powerful gasoline V6 with 285 horsepower is expected too.
