The leader of the Ukrainian national team risks missing Euro 2024

Ukraine's main left back Vitalii Mykolenko risks missing the start of the 2024 European Championship in Germany or the entire tournament. The Everton legionnaire was injured during a crucial Premier League match against Liverpool and was replaced at half-time.

According to journalist Viktor Vatsko, the first medical examination of the 24-year-old footballer showed a torn ankle ligament. Everton's doctors initially believed that Mykolenko would need surgery, which would put an end to the Ukrainian's chances of playing at Euro 2024.
