Ingredients for the dough:

  • baking powder – 6 g
  • flour – 370 g
  • butter – 140 g
  • sugar – 130 g
  • eggs – 2 pcs.
  • sour cream – 40 g

Ingredients for the filling:

  • pitted cherries – 200 g
  • nuts – 150 g
  • egg white – 3 pcs.
  • salt – a pinch
  • sugar – 130 g
  • corn starch – 1 tsp
  • cocoa – 1 tbsp

  • milk – 300 ml.
  • egg yolks – 3 pcs.
  • sugar – 70 g
  • vanilla sugar – 15 g
  • corn starch – 20 g

1. For the cakes, beat the eggs with sugar, add sour cream and soft butter, and mix everything.

2. Add the baking powder and flour and knead the dough.

3. Divide it into 2 parts (smaller and larger).

4. Put the smaller part in the freezer for 30-40 minutes.

5. Roll out most of the dough and place on a baking sheet, make sides.

6. Sprinkle the dough with cocoa, put cherries and chopped nuts.

7. For the protein filling, beat the egg whites with sugar and salt until they are white, add the starch and mix well.

8. Pour this mixture over the cake and grate the dough from the freezer.

9. Put in the oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.

10. For the cream, beat the egg yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar, and starch, then mix everything.

11. Add milk, and mix again until smooth.

12. Put on the fire and, stirring constantly, brew until thick.

13. Let cool and refrigerate for 20 minutes.

14. Beat the butter at room temperature with a mixer and add the condensed milk.

15. Whisk together and gradually add the custard while continuing to whisk. The cream should be fluffy.

16. Spread the cream over the cake and let it cool slightly. Then cut it into two halves. Spread the cream on one of them and put the other cake on top.
