Maksym InshakovNews
The ceremony will take place on October 28.

Ukrainian striker of the Italian "Roma" Artem Dovbyk was included in the list of 30 nominees for the "Golden Ball", which was presented by the magazine France Football. As an argument, the achievements of the last season, which Artem spent in the Spanish "Girona", were taken into account for inclusion in the top 30

The 27-year-old native of Cherkasy became the first Ukrainian in 18 years to be nominated for the Ballon d'Or. The last Ukrainian to be nominated was Andriy Shevchenko. In 2006, Andriy had a tremendous season at AC Milan, scoring 28 goals in 40 matches in all competitions.

It's worth noting that neither Messi nor Ronaldo were among the contenders for the first time since 2003.
