The father of a Russian biathlete came to fight in Ukraine and was liquidated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated Ivan Grishin, the father of Russian biathlete Anastasia Grishina. The occupier fought in the Avdiivka sector and held the rank of senior sergeant in the army of the terrorist state, taking direct part in the criminal war against our country.

The head of the press service of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU), Sergei Averyanov, wrote about this on his Telegram channel. According to him, Grishin participated in many of Russia's wars of aggression. A minute of silence will be observed before the start of the individual race at the Russian Cup in Ufa.

"The girls' race of the Russian Cup will begin today with a minute of silence in memory of the father of Anastasia Grishina, a member of the Russian biathlon team. Staff Sergeant Ivan Grishin, who went through many hot spots, died a brave death near Avdiivka. He was 46 years old... My thoughts are with Nastya, her family, and friends..." Averyanov informed.

As a reminder, after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, the captain of the Ukrainian biathlon team, Dmytro Pidruchnyi, joined the ranks of the Armed Forces. The 30-year-old native of Ternopil spoke about his service in the National Guard.
