The new Hyundai Initium 2025 crossover is an unusual model shown in official photos. It was expected that the new model would be made in the style of the low-cost Hyundai Tucson and Santa Fe models, but this idea was abandoned.

Next year, the car will replace the 1st generation Hyundai Nexo, which appeared in 2018. Photos of the Hyundai Initium have been posted on the manufacturer's website. It is not yet known whether the car will keep its name when it goes into mass production.

The automaker is now busy finalizing the model before it enters the market. The Hyundai Initium electric car has a bold geometric appearance dominated by straight lines and simple shapes. It looks very fresh, but the car does not look like other Hyundai crossovers. The body is remotely inspired by the Pontiac Aztek, which appeared in 2002.

The 1st generation Hyundai Nexo will be replaced by a successor by mid-2025. Its hydrogen power plant generates enough electricity to cover about 600 km before the next refueling.

The new Hyundai Initium has a more advanced and powerful 204 hp powerplant and a range of 650 km.
