The new affordable Mazda crossover will be the company's cheapest model in the popular segment. The ambitious car was shown online for the first time, although the manufacturer is still trying to keep it secret.
As Carscoops has learned, the management of the Japanese company has already hinted at the development of a new inexpensive crossover. It may be called Mazda CX-20, although this is very preliminary information.
The first sketches of the compact Mazda model show bold proportions, round taillights, and huge wheels. The latter appeared here for the sake of a spectacular presentation, and the bright lime color for the body may well end up in the production car.

There are no details about equipment and dimensions, but we can assume that the new Mazda will be more compact than the Mazda CX-3. A hybrid powertrain should not be ruled out.

The crossover segment seems to be dimensionless. The success of the Japanese manufacturer has shown that such models can be brought to market almost endlessly. Several cars have recently been added to the premium sector, which is new for the company: the Mazda CX-60, CX-70, CX-80, and CX-90 crossovers have proven to be an inexpensive alternative to BMW, Audi, and Lexus and have been popular with buyers.
