Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver recently told Express the recipe for his favorite fall cake with coffee flavor. He claims that it is the best cake imaginable. Another undeniable advantage of this dessert is the fact that it takes only 10 minutes to prepare.

Ingredients

  • Unsalted soft butter – 175 gr
  • Walnuts – 75 gr
  • Sugar -–175 gr
  • Eggs – 3 pcs
  • Flour – 150 gr
  • Baking powder – ½ tsp
  • Cold espresso – 50 ml

Method of preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

2. Grease the muffin tins with butter.

3. Grind 2/3 of the walnuts in a blender.

4. Beat the butter with a mixer with sugar until it turns white.

5. Beat eggs, gradually adding walnuts.

6. Add flour and a pinch of salt and mix thoroughly.

7. Chop the rest of the nuts into large pieces and mix with the espresso.

8. Put the batter into the muffin tins.

9. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

10. For the filling, mix butter and powdered sugar. Beat until the cream becomes fluffy.

11. Add the coffee and whisk again.

12. For the icing, beat the powdered sugar with the coffee until a thick, homogeneous mixture is formed.

13. Assemble the cake, garnish with walnuts and serve.
