Experts have test-driven the all-new Infiniti QX80 to determine how suitable this model is for family travel. The QX80 is a full-size SUV that looks more like a representative of the luxury car segment.

The QX80 has a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 with 450 horsepower. Acceleration is quick, and the engine sound remains muffled even under heavy throttle pressure. Experts told us why this model can win the title of the best family car.

Style

The QX80 is a stylish car with a bold appearance. It has an impressive double-arch grille inspired by the organic shapes of the bamboo forest. Combined with its large 22-inch wheels, the QX80 is a powerful force on the road.

Comfort

The QX80 has three spacious rows of comfortable seats. If you upgrade to the more expensive Sensory or Autograph trim levels, the seats in the first and second rows have a massage function. All seats are heated, including the third row. The power-folding and liftgate features, which can be accessed via buttons in the cargo area or on the front touchscreen controls, provide quick and intuitive access to the rear rows. The QX80 has decent luggage space.

Sound system

The QX80 is equipped with a premium Klipsch audio system. Higher trims have a whopping 24 speakers with 1200 watts of power. The car is equipped with titanium tweeters, roof speakers, an 8-inch subwoofer and a 24-channel amplifier.

Lighting

The 64-color personalized ambient lighting, including light tubes on the dashboard and doors, creates a pleasant impression and adds comfort to passengers.

Additional attributes

The QX80 Autograph model has a refrigerator located under the front armrest. When turned on, the cooling box directs air into the compartment to keep the contents cool.
