Supercomputer names the winner of Euro 2024
Quarterfinals start on July 5
The Spanish national football team is considered the main favorite in the fight for gold medals at the European Championship, which is currently taking place in Germany. According to the calculations of Opta's supercomputer, the probability of the Furiosa Roja winning Euro 2024 is 19.48%.
England is in second place. After processing 10,000 simulations of different outcomes, the machine believes that the ancestors of football will win the European Championship with a probability of 18.98%. The French are in third place with 18.1%.
The hosts of the continental championship close a tight four with an index of 17.15%.
The remaining four quarterfinalists (Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, Turkey) are outside the 10% probability.
