Stewed cabbage is one of the favorite dishes of many Ukrainians. The vegetable in this form has a very pleasant rich flavor, it is hearty and appetizing. To improve the taste of this traditional culinary masterpiece, add a spicy sauce based on adjika and sour cream.

The idea of cooking delicious stewed cabbage with adjika sauce was published on the Instagram page of a food blogger with the nickname pan fartuh. The cabbage will definitely not be dry.

Stewed cabbage will taste much better: what ingredient to add to the dish

Ingredients:

  • cabbage - 700 g
  • meat - 400-500 g
  • onions - 1-2
  • carrots - 1-2
  • tomato paste - 1.5 tbsp
  • salt
  • pepper
  • suneli hops

Ingredients for the sauce:

  • sour cream - 250 g
  • dill
  • Caucasian adjika - 1 tsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the meat into walnut-sized pieces.

2. Pour the oil into the cast iron, put the meat when it heats up.

3. When the meat is well browned on all sides, add the diced onion and grated carrot.

4. Turn the heat to medium and cook for 5 minutes.

5. Add the cabbage and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.

6. Then add the tomato paste, stir and cook for 2-3 minutes.

7. Add salt and spices and leave for another 5 minutes.

8. For the sauce, mix sour cream, finely chopped dill and adjika.
