When traveling by air, tourists are impressed by the friendliness of the crew. The well-known phrases "good morning" and "welcome aboard" are not just because of the courtesy of the staff.

Flight attendant Rania from Austria shared the real reasons for this behavior in her TikTok video. So far, the video has garnered over 6 million views.

It turns out that flight attendants communicate with passengers to assess their general condition. "The flight attendant greets you not only out of politeness but also to check if you are too drunk or sick to fly," Rania said.

In the video's caption, she noted that the crew also pays attention to passengers who could physically help in case of an emergency.

Another flight attendant, Kat Kamalani, confirmed her colleague's information. "When you're on the plane and you see the smiling faces of the flight attendants, it means we're checking you out. It's important to find police officers, military personnel, firefighters, doctors, and nurses who can provide first aid in case of an emergency." She advised all passengers who have the above qualifications to inform the crew.
