The legendary American writer Stephen King, who has been openly supporting our country since February 24 2022, addressed Russia on behalf of the entire world. He literally ordered the aggressor country to "get out of Ukraine."

The "King of Horror" posted this message on his personal Twitter page. In less than a day since it was published, it has garnered more than 12,000 retweets and 65,000 likes (at the time of writing).

"The world belongs to Russia: Get out of Ukraine. This is not your country," King wrote succinctly.

The author of "The Shining", "It", "The Green Mile", and many other cult books commented on the publication of the official page of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

"With your book "On Writing", you taught the world how to write. Today you are teaching the world how to talk to Russia in the only way it can understand! We salute you, sir!" the Defense Ministry posted.

As you know, Stephen King has repeatedly expressed his support for Ukraine. He ridiculed the Kremlin's attempts to frighten Ukrainians with an armed offensive and refused to cooperate with Russian media.

The "King of Horror" also commented with admiration on the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He noted the success of Ukrainian defenders and said: "Glory to Ukraine!"

After Russia recognized the so-called "DPR" and "LPR" - even before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine - the writer called Putin's actions a "miscalculation" and in March almost threatened to "empty the treasury" amid the war.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, after the Russian missile attack on the Amstor shopping center in Kremenchuk, Stephen King called the Russians' actions terrorism and supported Ukraine. Read more about this in the article.
