In the Novosibirsk region, Russian soldiers staged a mutiny and escaped from a military unit. At least two of the escapees have been prosecuted in the past.

It is worth noting that the military were trained before being sent to war against Ukraine. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Agency. News" Telegram channel.

The first to report the escape was the head of the village of Kochenyovo, where the military unit is located. The official complained that the escape was made by 10 soldiers who had previously left their units without permission.

On the day of the escape, four soldiers were detained outside the Kochenyovo district. Later it became known about three more detainees. In total, about 15 people could have participated in the escape.

According to the Russian media, one of the servicemen was involved in criminal cases of car arson, theft, and violence against a government official. Another was prosecuted for the production and sale of drugs. Yet another fugitive was tried for stealing a digital TV signal adapter and taking a hostage.

One of the soldiers filmed a video showing how windows and honor boards in one of the buildings in the military unit were broken. The soldier's mother said that her son was wounded in the war in Ukraine and was hoping to receive the "D" category of fitness, which exempts him from further service in the military. At first, the military was kept in a unit in Abakan and then transferred to the Novosibirsk region. The woman complained that her son later sent her a video in which he said that they decided to send him and other soldiers back to Ukraine.

On the eve of the riot, a group of occupiers tried to resolve the issue with the military police. The propagandists published a video in which a dozen soldiers try to explain to a military police officer that they cannot return to the combat zone because of their injuries, and also complain that they were brought there by deception.

In addition, the Russian invaders complained that the command did not consider them to be human beings. The occupiers also claimed that they were not provided with medical care in the military unit.

As a reminder, Russia continues to recruit prisoners serving their sentences in Russian prisons and colonies for the war against Ukraine. Not only Russian citizens but also immigrants from Central Asia and other foreigners are being taken to the front.
