The athlete limped sharply during the race
The famous Belgian athlete Alexander Doom failed to reach the final of the 2024 Olympics in the 400-meter race. The 27-year-old world indoor champion (2022) in the relay, bronze medalist of the World Championships (2022) in the relay and two-time European champion (2024) in the 400-meter dash and relay, was injured.
During the semi-final race, Doom suddenly slowed down and limped, holding his armpit muscles.
Spectators in the Stade de France stands took pictures of the doomed athlete, who walked alone to the finish line in disappointment.

It should be noted that Hal Quincy (USA) won the race. The second runner-up was Jermaine Richards from Trinidad and Tobago. They both qualified for the final scheduled for August 7 (22:00).
