Ukraine's Security Service has served a notice of suspicion to Valentyna Matvienko, an ally of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. A native of Ukraine, she authorized Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Matvienko personally signed the decision of the upper house of the Russian parliament to send Russian troops to Ukraine and approved the ratification of the so-called agreements on the "accession" of the temporarily occupied territories of four regions of our country to the aggressor state. The SBU provided details.

"The Security Service has documented new crimes committed by Valentyna Matvienko, the Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, who facilitates the Russian war against Ukraine. The suspect is a member of Putin's inner circle of associates and authorized the full-scale invasion of Russia," the statement said.

Thus, it was Matvienko who signed the decision of the upper house of the Russian parliament to bring the aggressor country's troops into the territory of Ukraine. She also approved the ratification of agreements on the "accession" of the temporarily occupied parts of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions to the Russian Federation.

"It has now been established that Matvienko coordinates the spread of the Kremlin regime in these territories of Ukraine under the guise of their integration into the 'legislative field' of Russia," the SBU said.

In addition, Matvienko publicly spreads fakes about the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the situation at the front. In her numerous appearances on Russian state propaganda TV channels, she denies the existence of Ukraine as an independent and sovereign state. Matvienko, who was born in Ukraine, also calls for the complete occupation of our country.

As part of the proceedings, the SBU initiated a forensic linguistic examination, the conclusions of which formed the basis for suspicion under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Thus, Matvienko is charged with crimes under Part 3 of Article 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine) and Part 3 of Article 436-2 (justification, recognition of the legitimacy of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).

This is not the first suspicion that a former Ukrainian woman from Putin's inner circle has received. Previously, she was notified of suspicion in absentia, in particular, for incitement to start and wage an aggressive war.

"Since the offender is in the territory of the Russian Federation, comprehensive measures are being taken to bring her to justice for crimes against our state. The investigation was conducted under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General's Office," the statement said.

Earlier, the SBU served a notice of suspicion to Yuriy Bardash. The musician and producer of the Gryby and Wellboy projects, who is in Russia, called for the occupation of Kyiv and Kharkiv.

Thus, Bardash is suspected of publicly calling for a violent change in the constitutional order, as well as distributing materials calling for such actions. In addition, he distributed materials calling for changes in the boundaries of the territory in violation of the procedure established by the Constitution of Ukraine.

The traitor, who is from Alchevsk, responded to the suspicion by saying that he "serves Russia."
