Salaries for "mystery shoppers" have risen at a record high in Ukraine: what kind of work is offered

In Ukraine, according to one of the major HR portals, salaries for mystery shoppers have increased by 133% over the past year. A year ago, the average salary for such work was UAH 16 thousand, and now it is about UAH 30 thousand.

According to a large HR portal, although this position is among the top three in terms of salary growth, there are a small number of vacancies in this area. Most often, they do not pay a rate, but a salary for the work performed.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessment of the quality of service of employees, shops, cafes, restaurants, medical facilities, etc.
  • Filling out a reporting questionnaire in electronic form (no later than the day after the visit)

"The service check is very interesting: you come to a location (store) as an ordinary customer, order food, get advice, or buy something, and then fill out a report (you can do it from your phone) and get good money," one of the ads says.

At the same time, the average salary in Ukraine as of September 2024, according to work.ua, increased from UAH 17,500 to UAH 21,500. That is, by 23%. Programmers have the worst salary dynamics. For example, a Golang programmer in September 2024 earns an average of UAH 92,500, which is 43% less than in September 2023.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote that the Cabinet of Ministers had approved the draft budget for 2025. It will be sent to the Budget Committee of the Verkhovna Rada. After consideration by the committee, and studying the proposed amendments, the document will be put to a vote in the session hall, and only then will the budget be approved. According to the document, Ukraine is expected to slow down its economy, devalue the hryvnia, and accelerate inflation. At the same time, the debt burden on the budget may decrease.
