On January 22, a group of Russians was detained in the popular Thai resort of Phuket. According to local police, an illegal gambling club for foreigners was operating in an elite building.
During the search, five players were caught red-handed, four of whom were Russian citizens. This was reported by the Bangkok Post.

The Russians were accused of playing poker and using chips as a payment currency, the amount of which was about 370 thousand hryvnias.
