The new Renault 4 E-Tech budget crossover for the 2025 model year has been fully declassified as an affordable new generation car with an electric powertrain. The network has found a way to further reduce the cost and simplify this model.

The details became known to Carscoops. Maltese Design showed their version of the long-awaited car. The inspiration was the Renault R4 JP4 of the 80s. In fact, it is a beach buggy.

The basic Renault R4 will soon be on the market. The company previously hinted at a range of about 400 km. And so it happened - the top-end variant with a capacity of 150 hp is equipped with a 52 kWh battery. The basic version received 120 hp and a 40-kilowatt unit with a range of 300 km.

The new crossover will go on sale in 2025 at a price of 25-30 thousand euros for the base version. The lineup also includes a van as a light commercial vehicle.
