Yaremchuk leaves Benfica

Ukrainian national team striker Roman Yaremchuk will leave Lisbon's Benfica and return to Belgium, where he played from 2017 to 2021 with Gent. The 26-year-old's new club will be Brugge, which will play in the group stage of the Champions League.

According to the Belgian publication HNL, both clubs have already agreed on the transfer. The Brugge club will pay 16 million euros for the Ukrainian, which will make Yaremchuk the most expensive purchase in the history of the Black and Blues. Benfica can receive another three million as bonuses. In addition, the Lisbon team will receive 10% of the player's future resale.
