Ancelotti has decided on Lunin's fate

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed the return of Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to the team. The 31-year-old goalkeeper will start the next Spanish league match against Cadiz, while Ukrainian Andrii Lunin will appear in the game against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Ancelotti announced this at a press conference before the match against Cadiz, Ok Diario reports. The Italian specialist expressed his joy at Courtois' return and added that the team is determined to win the championship as soon as possible.

"Courtois is fine and he will play tomorrow after a long time. He feels very good, he is very excited and we are all happy to have him back. We have the final against Bayern Munich, where Lunin will play. And then we will see. The goal is to get three points to get closer to winning the championship. We think only about that, not about what might happen next. We have not won anything, we will do it when we become champions on paper in the standings," Ancelotti said.

Earlier, the media reported that the Italian specialist had developed a plan to return Courtois to the Real Madrid squad, which allegedly included the Belgian's appearance in the match against Bayern Munich and the potential Champions League final. In addition, Madrid's coaches criticized Lunin for one of the goals conceded against the Germans in the first semifinal.
