Protests of relatives of mobilized soldiers continue in Russia

Relatives of the Russian occupiers continue to attempt "protests" in various cities of the Russian Federation. Previously, the Kremlin has censored such protests and suppressed any possible revival of a broader social movement in support of the mobilized.

Therefore, the so-called "protests" consist only of laying flowers at monuments. This is stated in the analysis of the Institute for War Studies.

The day before, footage was posted online showing members of the Russian public movement The Way Home laying flowers and gathering at monuments in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, and Yekaterinburg. Citizens of the terrorist country of Russia demand that their relatives be demobilized and returned home.

It is worth noting that the Russian authorities attempted to censor the protest of members of the Way Home movement in Moscow. According to analysts, the Kremlin's efforts to censor and discredit the Way Home movement underscore the Russian leadership's desperate desire to shut down these movements, especially on the eve of the March 2024 presidential election.

As a reminder, on February 10, a so-called "protest action" by relatives of the Russian occupiers took place in Yekaterinburg (Russia). The whole point of the event was to lay flowers at the monument. Traditionally, the small rally ended with the women being taken to the police station.

Earlier it was reported that in early January, relatives of the occupiers staged a so-called protest in the capital of the Russian aggressor country. However, it consisted only of laying flowers at the Soviet monument. According to the wives of the mobilized Russians, the Moscow authorities forbid them to go to rallies and express their opinions.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, relatives of Donbas residents mobilized to the Russian army began to organize protests demanding that their husbands be returned home. However, after a while, the militants of the DPR terrorist organization threatened the women for organizing the rallies.
