Propagandist Krasovsky poisoned in Russia

In Russia, unknown persons poisoned the former director of the Russia Today TV channel Anton Kuznetsov-Krasovsky. The Kremlin propagandist became "famous" for calling for the drowning and burning of Ukrainian children on live TV.

This information was confirmed to OBOZ.UA by sources on December 25. The day before, Putin fan himself had posted photos from the hospital on social media, claiming that he was "fine."

"At the beginning of the week, my stomach twisted sharply, I started to feel sick, then fainted. I was taken to the clinic. I am gradually coming to my senses," he wrote on his Telegram channel on the afternoon of December 24.

However, the Kyiv Post, citing sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, pointed out that this message was probably not posted by the propagandist himself.

The agency emphasized that the Russian, who called for the genocide of Ukrainians and the murder of Ukrainian children, was indeed poisoned in Russia. Moreover, Krasovsky's condition "continues to deteriorate."

It should be noted that Anton Krasovsky is a well-known Russian journalist and propagandist, publicist and political strategist. At the time of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops, he was the director of broadcasting at Russia Today. In October 2022, speaking on air, Krasovsky called for the genocide of Ukrainian children "for their anti-Russian views."

Almost immediately afterwards, the propagandist was fired from his job because his statements caused too much resonance even in the aggressor country. Then the Kremlin mouthpiece tried to justify himself, saying that he was "just carried away" and "did not see the line" at which he had to stop the flow of his hatred for everything Ukrainian.

Krasovsky also complained that he was living in fear because he was afraid of revenge. However, in May 2023, the Ukrainophobe spoke about the murder of Ukrainian citizens again and reiterated his call that Ukrainian children "should be drowned and burned."

In February 2023, Krasovsky was sentenced in absentia in Ukraine to five years in prison with confiscation of property. Subsequently, the SSU notified the propagandist of a new suspicion for public calls for genocide.

As reported, over the past year, a number of incidents related to the poisoning of Russian journalists who emigrated from Russia for political reasons have occurred in European countries en masse. Experts suspect that this could have been done with a different substance than the infamous Novichok.
